Aberdeenshire Coast

Some photos I took during a trip to Banff in Aberdeenshire, Schotland. Aberdeenshire is very diverse, from spotting whales and dolphins to climbing mountains you can really go from “sea to summit”. It’s very surprising there is not an awful lot done for tourism despite it being very beautiful. For example the castle that inspired Bram Stoker (Slains Castle) to write Dracula isn’t even signposted and has got a dreadful road leading up to it. It is however well worth visiting it. (as you can see in my pictures) But hey, the less tourism the better for me I guess.

The island of the eternal spring. (And a new camera)

I’ve just ¬†been to Tenerife. What a brilliant island and gorgeous weather! I really can recommend this to everybody! Fed up with lugging around my trusty Canon 40D I bought an Olympus E-PL5. What a brilliant choice! I can now pack everything in a small bag and as a bonus the image quality is better then my previous 40D. Just see for yourself! Holiday on the Isle of Skye

Last February I went on a trip to the Isle of Skye. The Isle of Skye is the largest island of Scotland and it’s located on the north-west side of Scotland. We had some really beautiful days especially if you consider that it was in February. If you ever get the chance to go to Skye, do it!
